Editorial Policy

Health-Eden publishes information about beauty, women’s wellness, fitness and weight management. Because these topics affect your health, we hold our content to clear standards. This page explains how we research, write, update and fund our articles.

Our sources

We base our articles on reliable, up-to-date sources, including peer-reviewed research, systematic reviews, and guidance from public health and professional bodies. We prefer high-quality evidence, such as large randomized controlled trials and reviews, over single small studies, animal studies or manufacturer claims. Where it helps readers, we link to the sources we used.

Accuracy and balance

  • We describe what the evidence shows, including when it is limited, mixed or still emerging.
  • We avoid exaggerated promises such as “rapid,” “miracle” or “guaranteed” results.
  • We point out risks, side effects and situations where you should speak to a doctor.
  • We do not give individual diagnosis or treatment advice.

Keeping content up to date

We review articles regularly and update them when new evidence, guidelines or products change the advice. When we substantially rewrite an article, we update its date.

Product recommendations

When we recommend products, we consider factors such as the evidence behind them, safety, quality, features, value and what real users report. We explain the trade-offs so you can choose what suits you.

Affiliate links and independence

Health-Eden is reader-supported. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we recommend or how we rate a product, and brands cannot pay to change our reviews. Pages containing affiliate links are disclosed.
